Does It Offend You, Yeah? (DIOYY) – “You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into”
Track Review By: Miss Raquel
These are guys are known for stage diving and breaking instruments during their live shows, and here I thought this kind of behaviour was left in the 90s, I guess not.

8MM – “Stunning (DJTK Remix)
Track Review By: Miss Raquel
What I always say about Toronto’s own DJTK is all her discs have blades on them.
Yes, she’s that sharp and on cue and you never, never know what razor blade she’ll cut you with next with her brand of Electro infused House.

deadmau5 – “Not Exactly ”
Track Review By: Miss Raquel
What can I say Not Exactly (original mix), like a mouse snuck up on me and when I first heard it I thought, “WTF?” and it instantly went on my Top 5.
“This creative ingénue runs the gamut of beats unlike any other. Since his inception deadmau5 has stormed with chart topping action and play lists from the best of the best.”

Tiesto – “Elements of Life”
CD Review By: SamHouZe
Two years have passed since Tiesto last finished on top of DJ Mag's annual DJ rankings. Some would say before that time, he was the best. With compilation albums like “Magik”, “In Search of Sunrise” and “Nyana” and artist albums such as the spectacular "In My Memory" and the half decent "Just Be”, he has continued to push himself musically, making it his passion. His evolution as an artist has been rather clear to see for all who have followed his career. His latest effort at an artist album called, "Elements of Life". I find it the weakest of his efforts to date.

Moby - Go (Trentemøller Remix) - Mute
Track Review By: DJTK
Although Danish Techno producer Anders Trentemøller has been slugging away in Copenhagen’s underground scene for over 10 years, his international breakthrough in 2005 came with his first EP release on Steve Bug's Pokerflat Records, “Polar Shift' (followed by the fall 06 release full length album: "The Last Resort"). Since then, his visibility has continued to rise, with high-profile remixes for the likes of Royksopp, The Knife and Moby's "Go".

Roger Sanchez - Again
CD Review By: Miss Raquel
I dislike track 1, Turn on the Music. Why? Been there, heard it…many times. I personally think this think is a filler track.
The other ten tracks fuckin’ rock! This CD is about life; everyday life. It’s different for Sanchez, not that I was a huge follower before oh his. Read more here

Deko-ze - Delicious
CD Review By: Samhouze
When I received my copy of Delicious, Deko-ze's new compilation album released on Hi-Bias records, I could hardly wait to get it in my CD player.
The CD itself is vintage Deko-ze. It gives the listener a short yet fulfilling look at the various styles he can bring to the decks. Starting off on a strong Tribal note, the compilation goes on a journey with a heavy vocal presence through the CD. Despite the presence of vocals in most of the tracks, his selection is such the cheese element is nowhere to be heard. About halfway through the energy level seems to jump up a notch with Mark Knight feat. Katherine Ellis - Insatiable and Deko-ze's own This Time (Funky Way Mix), which are both personal favorite tunes of mine. Read more here

Danny Torrence - redlite
CD Review By: DJ Jung Park
A signature DJ in Montreal, Danny Torrence has compiled a mixed CD, full of songs bringing the sounds of the after-hour scene to your speakers. A very smooth, well mixed pumping progressive House CD. Making it superb listening beginning to end. Each track seamlessly mixed into each other.
This album has a great mix of musical styles, ranging from male vocals, female vocals, drums, and strings, to lush sounds capes of House music. It has a feel of a sexy, lust-filled atmosphere, building towards a climax. It seems to be Danny's signature sound, 'the feel of a lust-filled sexy atmosphere'. Read more here

Jordan Rivera feat. Shereetha Campbell - desire (midnight society mix)
Track Review By: Jay Samsair
If any good track should make you happy, than I have found sheer joy. Remixed by Midnight Society's Curtis Atchison & Erik Reyes, Desire is signature Deep House infused with a chunky baseline and bouncy, looping drums reminiscent of summer parties. Recently released on Boston-based Slanted Black Records, it is available for you to download at Beatport.com.

Heavy Petters
CD Review By: DJ George Williams
I am pretty discerning when it comes to music. However, I will listen to almost anything once. When I look for music to add to an already vast collection, I need things to sound interesting, finished, and in high quality. Up until now, The Heavy Petters were unknown to me. Vocal House music is my genre of choice but there was a time and a place in the scene when I could only be satisfied by a broken beat, some drums, and some bass. Hearing track 2, Sick and Tired was exactly what I needed after a long day of listening to the looping snowboarding DVD played at work. Its soothing harmony, bright crisp vocals, and a behaved bumpin' broken beat felt as good as taking my shoes off after a 12 hour shift.

Cicada - The Things You Say (dirty south remix - critical mass)
Track Review By: Miss Raquel
The name Cicada refers to more than one band. The first Cicada: Formed in 1992 in Auckland, New Zealand. They released 1 EP in 1994 and an album in 1997.
Though ostensibly a guitar-based rock band they use a wide range of technologies - both modern and 'outdated' - to achieve a distinctive and often ethereal sound. Read more here

Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance 2006
CD Review By: Samhouze
The word going around in most electronic music circles today is Trance is dead; it has passed its heyday and the glory days when Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk ruled the scene are behind us. The world’s #2 according to DJ Mag DJ Armin Van Buuren has something to say about that with his 2006 A State of Trance compilation.
