electronica airs Tuesdays to Fridays at 8p.m. She conducts the research, content, and location scouting for the show. She’s not only on-air but you can read her written word in bpm:tv’s newsletter, “The Beat” in her column, “Month in Review”. In addition, she writes the “DJ Buzz” on the main page of bpm:tv’s website.
Miss Raquel is Chief Scenester (editor in chief) of Scenester Magazine a very popular online ezine catering to Canada’s EMS (electronic music scene).
Miss Raquel also hosts a one hour ear candy radio show, “The Splash” on Slurpy Radio (www.slurpyradio.com). She dishes the scoop on what’s happening in the EMS. “The Splash” consists of interviews with some of the best national DJs and producers. She can also be heard giving the dish on the “Slurpy Sips”.
The Splash airs Wednesdays, 8p.m and Fridays 9p.m. All shows can be downloaded to listen when you want, where you want and how you want. She’s also been heard on Club246 (CHIN 107.1FM) and Energy 105.5FM.
Co-founder and organizer of the infamous, “JaXx HouZe – Enchanted Tribal Platoon” events alongside DJ/Producer Nathan Barato. Her last shocking event was “Scandal in New York” where she not only coordinated this event but starred in the Scandal Show. She was also apart of the infamous “Mayhem” events with “Canada’s hardest working DJ”. Deko-ze. She was Paris Hilton’s Official host for the release of her self titled debut CD, “Paris Hilton” (Warner Brothers) at Toronto’s Voglie with DJ/producer DJTK as Miss Hilton was in Japan at the time.
Miss Raquel has been featured in Fab Magazine, Metro News (Toronto), houseaddict.com, an Industry NLI Feature Girl on nightlifeinfo.com and appeared in the documentary film, “After-hours” directed by Stephanie Kittell. And she’s been interviewed on both blogtv.ca and WEB2.0TV.
