Adam K – “I Can Feel” – Hotbox Digital
Track Review By: Samhouse

If you’ve been keeping up with the productions to come out of Toronto lately then you might have heard the name Adam K. Yet another name that has been making serious waves over the past year, Adam keeps up the furious work in the studio with this release on Hotbox Digital, “I Can Feel”.

His sound has varied on some of his productions ranging from the dirty, grimy electro remix of Deadmau5’s “Hey Baby” to the more progressive sounding “Twilight” (original mix).

“I Can Feel” is more along the progressive lines with what seems like a dark intelligence behind it. The track chugs along at a consistent pace with just the slightest hint of minimal influence with there being no climax or buildup halfway through. This is a style I have been seriously enjoying lately and is a great indicator of Adam’s ability to diversify his productions.

Check it out along with a bunch of other great releases on the Hotbox Digital label at beatport.com.
