deadmau5 – “Not Exactly ”

What can I say Not Exactly (original mix), like a mouse snuck up on me and when I first heard it I thought, “WTF?” and it instantly went on my Top 5.

Much of what deadmau5 has produced has landed on my Top 5 and all his tracks have come from me not knowing who he was. I discovered for myself on my own without and introduction to him.

Not Exactly is piece which needs no vocals as it takes you on a sultry journey of mid-highs and a deep bassline which is still slightly hip-shaking. It’s simply a piece of music which has such a musical story so intense it’s only felt inside.

It starts off with what sounds like two basslines before we get into the highs which then takes us into a beautiful melody combining all so seamlessly it’s no wonder it’s such an original track.

It sounds like a combination of Trance with minimal deep House. Now with his own label 'Xfer records' and 'mau5trap'.
