Def Mix: Celebrating 20 Years of Music

I couldn't help but feel a warm and fuzzy feeling come over me when I entered The Sound Academy (a.k.a. The Docks) then again I think it might have just as well been my new Russian inspired fun fur hat. Either way it was a nostalgic night full of familiar faces and DJ' pumpin' out their classic tunes.

In the Main room the demi-god of music himself; David Morales filled our ears until they runneth over with his classic mix of vocals and sexy anthems.

Chemically enhanced smiles seemed brighter and bolder as most of the gay boys and friendly peeps mingled and danced their asses off here.

If you ventured upstairs to the Solarium room, Satoshi Tomiie and Hector Romero spun their stuff for a less than enthusiastic and predominantly straight but very friendly crowd.

Perhaps I'm just too used to partying in the gay world where extravagance is the norm?

All together, this night wasn't as crowded as one would think given the incredible talent but it was well worth the hype.
