International Scene: Ibiza Fucking Island!

Ibiza Fucking Island!  Or so goes the saying.  Imagine an island more picturesque than its Caribbean counterparts, more cultured than The West, more social than the most cosmopolitan of cities and wilder than the most adventurous of fantasies!  Confirming its place as a Bohemian paradise nestled amid the infamous Balearic Islands; Ibiza caters to all.  It transcends age, nationality, race, sex, sexual orientation and gender…  It does not compromise on one thing, however: Dance Music.  It is The Home, The Mecca and The Epitome of all that is House!  Whether it is Electro, Deep, Vocal, Progressive, Tribal, Techno, Lounge or Chill, Ibiza dishes it up like no other place on earth can.

This is not Miami. 
This is not New York. 
This is Ibiza!  This is an island where the sea meets the sand, and people meet people! 
Time doesn’t matter here, it seldom exists! 
You can eat, party, fuck, get fucked up, wake up and get done up any time you want!  It’s Ibiza! 

It’s the only place a guy can wear a clubbing skirt and get away with it.  It’s the only place a girl can party the day away at an outdoor club with nothing but a thong!  It’s the only place where copious amounts of foam are dumped on thousands of clubbers at 7AM in the morning! 

If you can’t make it in Ibiza, you can’t make it!  Or so say the DJs.  Months before your latest favorite song is aired, it’s played in Ibiza.  From Guetta to Oakenfold, Tiesto to Morillo, Ibiza has no shortage of DJs all of whom are ready to help you turn it out.  Party promoters also go wild…although none more extravagant, more internationally known, more over-the-top than Barcelona’s own Matinée Group.  Their infamous Saturday day party at Space is, well for lack of a better description, The Best and most incredible party you’ll ever experience EVER!

Space has been voted the best global club in the world (International Dance Music Awards).  It has more than four rooms, both indoor and out and holds over 5,000 party-goers on any given day!  It’s the only club open six out of seven days a week, and usually is home to two parties a day!  It’s a clubber’s heaven on earth!  It’s, as the Spaniards say, “De Puta Madre” (slang for “The Shit!”).

Your first visit to Ibiza is like your first time having sex…you spend too much time trying to figure out where everything is, and once you finally figure out the coolest hot spot, the party’s just about done!  So, like any expensive addiction, you too can enjoy a decadent over-the-top week; immersing yourself in everything that is Ibiza.  Why not?  It’ll only cost you a modest $5,000 cad.  

Once you’ve been though, you’ll understand why it’s so internationally known, but seldom experienced!  You’ll appreciate the reason why thousands of scantily-clad, fashionable and indulgent European youths flock to that magical rock in the Mediterranean every summer.   And on your first through last day, as the music vibrates through your body, the sun shines on your face and thousands of your new-found friends dance around you in a crazy frenzy, you realize it’s is 11AM, but you don’t care – the party has just begun (again) and it’s Ibiza Fucking Island!
