Everything But The Girl – “Missing (Tenishia Remix – Radio Edit)”

Tenishia are Jovan & Cyp-rian a duo from Malta, although Jovan now lives in Australia which means they don’t physically produce music together, they produce it from across the globe. Gotta love the power of the Internet!

Tenishia has done a radio remix of the ever so popular; Everything But The Girl’s “Missing”

Now, this track in its original form is a gem and will stand the test of time hands down.

Tenishia’s Radio Edit keeps the same feel as the original, but adds a slightly deeper bassline, yet still allows the infamous vocals to stay in tack without splicing them. Tenishia delicately put this together to form another great remix of this track.

It consists of adding in some double drums, a light build-up offering at the end. Its double timing could set you off a bit, only if you’re looking for it though. Bottom line it works, and they did it professionally and without disturbance.

Tenishia is signed to Armin van Buuren's label, Armada Records.

I find this remix of Everything But The Girl’s “Missing” very well done, but could use more flavour such as maybe a heavier deeper bassline making you want to dance more, but than again maybe I’ve been influenced too much with so many remixes done many artists such as, Todd Terry and I’ve been spoiled.
