CD TRACK REVIEWS

8MM - "Stunning (DJTK Remix)"
Track Review By: Miss Raquel

What I always say about Toronto’s own DJTK is all her discs have blades on them.

Yes, she’s that sharp and on cue and you never, never know what razor blade she’ll cut you with next with her brand of Electro infused House.

Her radio edit of Stunning is softer than what you’d normally hear from TK, but that’s only because of the vocals,

The bassline in true TK style is hard, deep and will defiantly get your neighbours mad…if that’s what you want to do…or need to….I’m not pushing this idea or anything!

It’s a great track that’s good for peak time and even for the time easing into peak time due to that deep bassline I just mentioned.

Now, I like my vocals and I like the usage of them in this track as it adds a touch of delicateness to it, something TK is not necessarily known for, as she drops some serious in your face Techno, Electro and even Electro-clash.

I suggest you get this track if this is what you’re into…and you should check her out live too! Warning! Watch for flying discs with blades on them.

You can hit up TK at djtk.net.

I give Stunning (radio edit) ¾ beats. Be sure to catch this review on the show I host on bpm:tv called, “electronica”.
